[Babytron] Takes Over Union Stage in D.C. For His “Bin Reaper” Tour

BabyTron is back on tour following his recent album release Bin Reaper 3: New Testament! I was lucky enough to catch Tron early on his ‘Bin Reaper’ tour in Washington DC. If you know me then you know I like to get to any concert as early as possible to secure a nice barricade, or in this instance stage ‘seat’ and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Yours truly was 3rd in line, and front n center the entire show!

When I got in and people started piling behind me Tron’s DJ, RJ Lamont had came out and gave us a phenomenal DJ set before the openers. The first couple openers were not very memorable if I must be honest, that was until the Detroit rap group ‘Dog Shit Militia’ came out! Their stage presence wasn’t the strongest that night but it did leave a nice impression! After they left the stage RJ announced he was playing 1 song then bringing out ‘DaBoii’ who was good, I just don’t have any knowledge on his music. Last of the openers was BabyTron’s rap group the ‘Shittyboyz!’ The boyz are not a duo but rap as if they were and it compliments them really well.

9:00pm RJ is hyping up the crowd, “Jesus Shuttlesworth” comes on, BabyTron runs out! The crowd is going bonkers over James, they all have their phones out with flash on, while Tron lighting up his backwood while the crowd recites his lyrics. Unlike the underground Opium vampires, BabyTron doesn’t run left to right on stage, he’ll stop in front of you for a little bit recite a bar or 2 take some puffs then he’s off to repeat the process for other fans! Although he didn’t play too many songs from his recent albums his song selection was amazing nonetheless. After about an hour performance Tron ends the show with his Lyrical Lemonade music video song, “Emperor Of The Universe” thanks the crowd for an amazing show and wish’s us safe travels. Overall an amazing performance so glad I was able to make the trip, jah.pool signing out.
