[Dro Kenji] Drops New Album ‘WISH YOU WERE HERE’

Dro Kenji, the talented artist we've all been anxiously awaiting, has finally graced us with his highly anticipated album for 2023 titled 'WISH YOU WERE HERE'. Let me tell you, this musical masterpiece has quickly risen to the top of my favorite albums this year. As a long time supporter of Kenji, I've kept an eye out, eagerly anticipating any new releases. I had the immense pleasure of previewing "PAMPER PAMPER," the second track on the album featuring the incredible Mike Dimes, when it unexpectedly leaked three weeks ago. From the very first listen, I was absolutely captivated by its production. This song has had me hooked ever since, becoming the soundtrack to my workouts, my editing sessions, and even my casual hangouts with friends. It's a track that never loses its appeal.
When the official album finally dropped, I wasted no time in immersing myself in every single song, without skipping a beat. Kenji truly outdid himself on this project, delivering a flawless collection of 17 tracks. Among my personal favorites are the enchanting "DREAMIN'," the powerful "PRESIDENTIAL," and the mind-blowing "PSYCH OUT." If I were to choose just one standout, it would undoubtedly be "MYSELF," which features an exceptional beat and an unforgettable hook that ignites both the mind and the heart. This album showcases a perfect fusion of high-energy, feel-good anthems and thought-provoking tales of love.
While I'm content with the current release, I can't help but dream of a potential deluxe edition. It would be a first for Kenji, and 'WISH YOU WERE HERE' seems to be the ideal album for such treatment. I know he has an abundance of unreleased tracks buried in the vault due to a few leaks. Nevertheless, for now, I'm fully satisfied with this latest offering. If you haven't experienced the magic of "WISH YOU WERE HERE" yet, I wholeheartedly urge you to give it a listen - I promise you won't be disappointed.
